Apply for This RoleAbout the role
You'll work on the real, day-to-day operational tools consultancies and coaching centers depend on — not a demo. Expect to move between the Next.js frontend, the Django/DRF + Channels backend, and the data model connecting them, with direct input into how features get built, not just how they get shipped.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across our Next.js/TypeScript frontend and Django/DRF + Channels backend
- Work on core modules — the admissions CRM, lead pipeline, and commission settlement engine — as they go from spec to production
- Help design the data model changes that keep a student's record consistent across every module
- Collaborate directly with the founders on product and architecture decisions — this is a small team, so your input shapes real roadmap calls
- Write code that holds up under real usage: role-based access, audit trails, and multi-tenant data isolation are non-negotiable, not an afterthought
What we're looking for
- 2+ years building and shipping production web applications
- Comfortable across the stack — React/Next.js on the frontend, Python/Django on the backend, PostgreSQL for data
- Able to work hours that substantially overlap with Kathmandu (NPT, UTC+5:45)
- Care about correctness in places most engineers skip — permissions, audit trails, money math
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Familiarity with WebSockets or other real-time systems (we use Django Channels)
- Past exposure to CRM, LMS, or fintech-adjacent (commission/settlement) systems
